DDC#26 - "For The Lil' Ones"

Good Monday morning! Its been a busy week for me and then I had the grandbaby over the weekend and enjoyed our Nana and Poppy time with him! He is 18 months old now, and can count to 3, he is pick up words so well. He will say apple so crystal clear! It amazes me how smart that lil' guy is!

 

So anyway on to this weeks challenge at Digi Darla's! "for the Lil' ones" is the theme, here is my card using Digi Darla'sGirl Patchy Frog Sit !

CWLC #3 "3 of a kind"

Thank you for all the great comments on my card last week here at CWLC!

We are having so much fun with ya'll!!

This week our challenge theme is "3 Of A Kind" we want to see 3 of anything, gems, ribbon, buttons, images ect! We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles and they so generously gave the DT some image to work with, here is what I chose "Sniffing Daisies" I had the perfect person in mind when creating this card...Chris, one of the 3 co-owners was having surgery and I thought, this would be Perfect for her! My 3 of a kind, is the 3 gems, 3 layers and 3 rows of ribbon at the bottom! I chalked the sky, colored the image with prisma color pencils and cut out with spellbinders die.

here is my card that I did using Bugaboo Stamps image Happy Bird Day

I used Martha Stwearts Birthday stack and then added a cloth swatch and mounted the image cut out with spellbinders on top... Colored the image with Prisma Color pencils, added some lace to the bottom and a cupcake button...

Hello stamping friends!! It's time for another new release hop this week over at Digi Darla's! We'll be showcasing some of the JULY new releases at our sister site - Digital Stamp Club!! Each of us on the DT chose an image from all of the July releases to show you and guess what!! Each one of us will be choosing one lucky winning comment to receive our image choice!! So make sure you hop around to all our blogs and be sure to comment for a chance to win a DD image!!! We're also giving away a GRAND PRIZE!! Just for joining us, using a DIGI DARLA image, you will have a chance to win ALL of the July's New Release images!!! OMGosh!! 

So, let's get this party started, shall we?? If you've arrived here from KAREN, then you are on the right track!! If you're just arriving, please be sure to start at the very beginning, Denise's blog, so you don't miss one thing!! Our challenge this week is "Musical Lyrics" - we want to see a musical lyric on your creation. Any era, genre, it's completely up to you. Can even be a children's song!

And here's my creation using Digi Darla's "Birds Building Nest"
my Musical Lyrics theme is "The Birds and The Bees" by Dean Martin (click to hear)

I colored with my prisma colored pencils, inked a few clouds on my background, and then punched out the bees and layered them and the glittered their wings to make them shine...I hand wrote the sentiment on Velum.
