CWLC 61 "Any Holiday"

Took at trip to El Paso TX mid Sept, we were gone 11 days, traveled 3518 miles!!!

 Phew what a drive!

I got to meet a wonderful lady Denise from (her BLOG) that I had the pleasure to work with on the Digi Darla Design Team for a year, she lives in El Paso, so with hubby's job in her town I took the opportunity to meet up with her and have dinner and a wonderful evening!

Here is a photo that we took at her house! I hope that I get the chance to get back to El Paso, TX to visit with her again some day!

So I bought a couple SVG files from Digital Delights and did a Layout with some Thanksgiving SVG's. For those that dont know, the SVG files are cut on the Cricut Expression machine, using special software called SCAL2 here is where you can find this cute pilgrim couple over at Digital Delights Pilgrim People!

CWLC 59 Fall Colors

Good Monday morning!!! Wow where is the month of September going!!!

Fall will be here so soon! I love fall and this was a perfect challenge for me!

This week at Created With Love Challenges we are doing a Fall Color Theme!

 "Pumpkin Sign" to work with!

The Lily flower is one that I made with the McGill paper punch set I have. The layers behind the image are ribbons, dark brown, Orange, and tan brown...I layered then on top of one another and used a piece of scrapbook paper that has Fall Leaves printed on it! Colored my image from Ginger Loft Stamps with Prisma Color Pencils and blended with OMS.

i {heart} sketch no.33

Good Morning Crafters!

Today I have a card that I worked on last night for "i {heart} sketches"

Its for Sketch no.33 this week below

I used Seven Christmas Birds from "From The Heart Stamps"

 

here is my take on this sketch, I colored the image with prisma color pencils and chalked the edge after cutting out with a spellbinders die. Using Christmas paper stack and use a red/green holograph ribbon. I stitched the dotted line on the sketch with We R memory keepers Sew Easy tool.

The poinsettia is made with a spellbinders die.

CWLC 57 Tic Tac Toe

Its Tic Tac Toe time! We haven't done this theme is quite some time at Created With Love Challenges, I had fun making this card!

Stamp Of The Month & sketch no.32 & DT call

Hello fellow crafters!

today I have for you a fabulous image! it is from

 From The Heart Stamps called "Bobbing for Apples"

 

Isn't it adorable!  I had so much fun with this image!

Also in the post I would like to tell you about the i {heart} card sketch!

this week we are on Sketch no.32 and this is what it looks like!

 

So using the sketch and the image above I created this cute card!

Coloring the image with my prisma color pencils and blending with OMS. I chalked the blue sky, cut out circles with my Spellbinders Grand Calibur using circle dies. The yellow strip at the bottom is cur with  Martha Stewart border punch. the pink and white polka-dot is ribbon! The pink plaid background paper is from DCWV "the Blossoms & Butterflies Stack".

 The flowers are from Martha Stewart.

The inside I finished with a spellbinders die and then embossed the

 pink Core'dinations paper with a cuddle-bug folder called "Juli's Garden"

then stamped with the sentiment that I got at Michael's Crafts!

I used my cuddlebug to emboss the light green backing, and I used some glitter

I am running a little behind today....forgot to do my post for 

this weeks challenge at Created With Love Challenges.  

Anyway, on to my card for today!

Today at Created With Love Challenges we are starting a new 

challenge Theme and it is Everyone's favorite!! ANYTHING GOES!!!

I chose to do a Christmas card with a Digi Darla image called Christmas Tree

Using my cuddle bug to emboss the background with snowflakes, and used 

my Grand Calibur to cut and emboss the image.

I added some stickles to the tree garland too.

i {heart} Card Sketch no. 31

Hello everyone....Today I have been in the craft room with my Sister-in-law who is staying with us for a bit. I have her addicted to card making!!! she has seen what I do and was like Oh My...I gotta try!! and she LOVES it! She is over browsing From The Heart Stamps as I type this!!!

Anyway today I worked on the Delightful Inspiration Sketch # 31

 

using this sketch and an image from From the Heart Stamps

I came up with this Fab birthday card. I have a hard time finishing the insides of my cards and have a stack sitting here that have no "innards" so to speak. so this time I went all the way and finished the whole thing. SO proud of me....LOL
