CWLC 42 Ribbons & Lace

In my card this week I chose to work with Embroidery Charlotte! isnt she cute!

 

Colored the image with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. 

I use some Lace that my sister-in-law gave me and some ribbons from Joanna Sheen!

 The sentiment is from Digi Darla Designs!

CWLC 41 Birthday Bling It Up!

Good Monday morning crafters!

 I am using an image from her store called 

Flower Field, I colored with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. Chalked the background Sky Blue. Cut the image out using a spellbinders die, added some Bling and a hand made Rose, and the Happy Birthday sentiment 

with added bling!

i {heart} Sketch No. 17

Today was a very rainy and icky day here in Virginia! We have had over 5" of rain in the last 24 hrs! 

So it was perfect for some craft room time!!

I worked on this cute image

 

 from Delightful Inspirations and used I {heart} sketch no. 17!

 

My card, colored the image with prisma color pencils, and blended with OMS.

I used some blue Mulberry paper for a my back ground layer and then a strip on the front and stamp the sentiment on the blue mulberry paper too!  I chalked sky blue behind the cute mouse and chalked green for the bottom.

Hello!

Welcome to my blog this week!

Over at Created With Love Challenges we are Celebrating Mother's Day with that as our Theme!

Cedar Chest Designs is our sponsor and I chose an image from their wonderful store to work with called "Willow Heart Tree" I added a Mother's Day sentiment that I found online

I colored with my prisma color pencils, and cut out with Spellbinders 

oval scallop die and did one bigger on glitter paper for behind.

Good Monday morning! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

This week at Created With Love Challenges we are doing a Theme of "Call Of The Wild"

we want to see Wild Animals, wild animal prints etc...

CWLC 37 Recycle Reuse

Hello crafty friends!

Just a quick post today..I am getting ready to fly out Tues night to 

Houston TX to visit with my sister-in-law for a week!! So excited!!!

This week at Created With Love Challenges, we are sponsored by Meljen's Designs and she was generous to offer the DT a few images to work with. The image I am using is called "Spring Flowers Cupcake" the Theme at CWLC this week is Recycle/ Reuse!

I took a empty toilet paper roll and made a Birthday Gift card holder!

 

 I colored the image from Meljen's with my Prisma Color pencils, and blended with OMS, Folded the toilet paper roll flat and glued the bottom together so the Gift Card would not slip through the bottom. I then wrapped it with some Birthday themed scrap paper from Martha Stewart, then I cut a half circle in the top to be able to grab the GC out easy.

Delightful Inspiration

Hello Crafty friends and bloggers!! today I got busy and got into my craft room which I haven't done in a few weeks and got some stuff accomplished!! Ya Me!! One of the projects on my To Do list was a challenge for Delightful Inspirations! I used the image of the month and also incorporated one of their sketches!

My card ! is that image just the cutest! I colored it with Prisma Color pencils and blended with OMS. then I added some Glossy Accent to his eyes and then added some liquid pearls to the flower pot dots! I fussy cut around the 1 flower and leaf on the left!

CWLC 36 Recipe 1,2,3

Good Monday Morning!!!

Spring is in the Air here in Virginia USA!!!

Finally, we really begun to think mother nature for got it this year, we had a 

unexpected snow storm last Thursday night! Even caught the Virginia DOT off guard!

Wow have I been SUPER Busy!! Last week I was in El Paso TX, that is 1800 miles one way from my home!! That was a long trip...Went with hubby on a trip for his work out there! It was BEAUTIFUL weather the whole trip, gone a week! Got to visit with hubbys brother and sister in law, and his niece who is expecting her first baby in June! Was a good trip but surly a long one! This past weekend I had my grandson all weekend, he is 2 and I am exhausted from keeping up or at-least trying to keep up with him!!

This week at CWLC we are doing a RECIPE 1,2,3!!....1 Image, 2 Design Papers, 3 Embellishments!

Simple enough right!!! Cant wait to see what you all come up with for this challenge! Here is my take on this Theme! I used Delicious Doodles image Fuchia and Hummingbird frame. Delicious Doodles is our sponsor!
