"Think Spring" New Digi Darla Challenge

Good Monday Morning all you wonderful crafters!

 I do hope you had a chance to join us at DigiDarla's Challenge blog over the last couple weeks! We had a great image to give away for anyone who entered the "Anything But Snow" challenge. This week starts a new challenge and the Theme is "Think Spring"  I would LOVE to see what you come up with! there are some awesome creations by the Design Team, be sure to check all them out!

As for my inspiration for you i have 2 cards, one is with our sponsors (Robyn's Fetish) image and the other is a very cute Digi Darla image, so without further ado here are my cards:

Robyn's Fetish image

This card I used Robyn's Fetish "Ms Cutie Bear" image, I colored her with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. The ribbon is from Joanna Sheen and the DP is from my stash. The border at the bottom was done with my fiskars template and then I too my Big Bite and punched the mini holes to make it look like a punched border, then added a strip of the brown circle DP to the inside so when card closed yo can see the paper that matches the front circles! The sentiment is a wooden mount stamp from my collection. Now on to my next card.......

Digi Darla's Caring Duck

Isn't this just adorable!!!! I love this image by Digi Darla I colored him with my Prisma Color pencils and blended with OMS. The yellow card stock I mounted him to was run though my cuddlebug. The sentiment is a new wood mount stamp I got yesterday at Michael's. The flower is prima flower. The ribbon's at the bottom are from Joanna Sheen, I took 2 of them 1 pink and 1 purple and did a twist to get the effect I wanted...then the bling are from Martha Stewart, I love them they remind me of candy dots! So there you have it! I hope you have found some inspiration from me today, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with on this challenge!

Happy St Patricks Day CDAC PC12

Here is another card for the CDAC PC#12, this will make my 4th card for this Challenge! The images are great this go around! Have a few more ideas popping up as I look at the other images! If you don't know what I am talking about Check it out HERE! This card was done again in all GREEN the DP is from my stash and called Luck of the Irish "Lucky Stripes" By Reminisce, the Flower is layered prima and the image is from Crafting With Jack and the shamrock buttons are from Dress It Up.

Special St Patty's Day Wish

Today, woke up to snow!! First snow here for the 2011/2012 Winter Season! Well its 4:30pm and the white stuff has covered the ground and is still coming down! Looks like they finally got this forecast right! Big Snow! Anyway I was searching the net for some inspiration and came across this really cool Sketch site called Sketch Saturday and was like wow....So I browsed the DT Cards and said I can do this one and what a DT they have there "Very Talented"! So this is my take on their Sketch this week and I will surely be back for more!
This card is done with "all" scraps that I had! Love that! I do not know where the image came from but love it, colored with my prisma colored pencils. The sentiment is from a stamp by Studio G.

Somebody Toad Me!

yup, I heard......

Somebody TOAD me it was your birthday!!! And I had to make this Card just for you!

This card done up in alot of "green".. The image is from Fred She Said Designs, he is soooo cute!

I colored him and his toad up with prisma color pencils and then cut him out with my Fiskars template, the sentiment I made my self with MS Word, I put it on DP that I had and added some ribbon and a Prima flower that I layered and added a button brad, and then added lil' bling and poof! Done!

My Mo and Jo.....

Wow! I kinda lost my Mo and Jo I think with the storm coming they packed up and headed south to avoid this big snow storm!!! So in order to get my Mo and Jo back on track and headed home, a friend recommended I check out MoJo Mondays for a boost! and WOW It worked, MoJo finally got back together and here is the results! This card follows the Sketch at MoJoMonday and the digi is from A Day for Daisies for the CDAC Progressive Challenge # 12.
I made it into an Easel card with a sentiment that I popped up with pop dots! The dresses are colored with prisma color pencils and then the tops are glittered.

CDAC-PC12

Here we are again..CDAC-PC12, can u believe we are at Progressive Challenge # 12 already! I went ALL GREEN!  This really cute image is by  Happileigh Scrappin' I took and printed 2 identical images and colored both with my Prisma Color Pencils. Then I cut one out and and took pop dots and placed behind it and put it on top of the other to give it a 3D look...The Sentiment is from  Happileigh Scrappin' as well. The flowers are Recollections and the paper is from my stash!

The Sketch I used is from ICSketches and I am entering it in their Challenge this week.

Round & Round

Hi All!!
I seen this Great image from DigiDarla Designs and then seen the post for Phindys Challenge "Round & Round" and knew the 2 had to go together!!! Soooo I made this card with DigiDarla's image, cut circles on my cricut, and then stamped the sentiment and put it on pink cardstock circle...both my pink circles are sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give that extra shimmer! The Flower at the top is a Prima Flower "camolot rose" and my DP is "Glitter Stack" by DCWV"

"Anything But Snow" at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog

Good Monday morning all you wonderful crafters!

Wow it was a busy last 2 weeks over at DigiDarla's hope you all had fun and even got a chance to check out the hop that we had, there was alot of inspiration!
Today starts a new Challenge at DigiDarla's and a new challenge mean New Sponsor, New Freebie, and New inspiration from the great design team! So after you get done checking my creations out hop on over to the rest of the DT and see what they have to help inspire you!

So our sponsor this challenge is Dearie Dolls and she was sweet enough to give us these great images to work with....the first one is "Morning Glory Day" and the second is made special for Digi Darla's Challenge called "Anything But Snow"

So for "Dearie Dolls "Morning Glory Day" I colored with prisma color pencils. Used some fab DP from Martha Stewart. The 2 different ribbons are from Joanna Sheen and the sentiment I made with Word and colored. then to top it off with some bling I added gems to the bottom and 2 butterfly buttons that I altered and cut the backs off of! What do ya think?? Great image from Dearie Dolls!

My second card uses Dearie Dolls "Anything But Snow" image. Colored with my prismacolor pencils, added some stickles to the snow to make it glitter a bit. The paper is scraps that I had left over from awhile ago. The sentiment is from a stamp collection I have and the flower is a prima flower. The ribbon under the image is from Joanna Sheen.

Cards For Emily

I seen this blog post about a little girl name Emily, I read her story and was touched, I knew I had to send her some love....She may not know me but she will know that I am praying and thinking of her during this difficult challenge in her young life. I read that she likes kittys and purple and well this is my card for her and I hope she likes it and all the love that went into it!

I do not know where I got this cute kitten image, but I love it...I used a ColorCore A2 Card and embossed "With Love" on the bottom with a Cuttlebug border folder. used some scraps I had from a previous card fo a little background, the image was colored with Prisma color pencils, and then cut and embossed on my Spellbinders Grand Calibur and then I chalked in purple. Added a flower that I colored with glimmer mist and added a Gem and added Gems to the bottom! Inside is a sentiment from DigiDarla that says" Sending warm thoughts and wishes your way"

      For my creation today, I used Digi Darla's Blessings Of Heaven 1 We have a close friend of the family that is expecting a girl and I made this card for her and her husband!
I used Digi Darla's Blessings Of Heaven 1, colored it with my prima color pencils and cut out and embossed with my spellbinders and added a layer done the same way. The card is A2 and ColorCore so I embossed it with using Cuttlebug and a Baby Frame embossing folder by Darcie. I used a prima flower and added a gem to the center. The sentiment I made with Word and then added a few more gems for some bling!

And for a little more inspiration....I created a scrapbook layout to share.

  Here I used Digi Darla's "Baby Boy Collage" image. This is my Grandson that was born March 18th 2011 we have all taken LOTs of pics of him but I am just now getting to start his Scrapbook. The center pic is his first night at home, and the pic in the upper left is his first night at our home, he spends every Friday night and Saturday with us to help out with babysitting while his mommy n daddy are working. So its Great for us we love having him here!

Just A Note....CDAC-PC11

Wow! time for CDAC Progressive Challenge #11 where did the time go!! I love all the images that were shared for this Challenge! What great artist! I chose this one for my first card by Whimsy and Stars Studio. (will be makin more soon)

I thought about how this image could be used and said well I could use it as a Thinking of you or even "We've Moved" card, but I was looking at my stamps and seen this "Just a Note" sentiment and it HIT me!! This is a "Just a Note card!!! SOOOO I colored it with prisma color pencils and then cut it out with my fiskar circle cutter, I chalked the image in yellow chalk, then took a scrap peice of paper and ran it through my Spellbinders with the Scalloped die, behind that is a 1 1/2 inch yellow ribbon, and then I put some bling on and a prima flower! Then stamped the sentiment!

Friends 'n' Flowers

Good afternoon all you lovely crafters and followers.... Hi there to all my new followers!

     Today I have a very cute digi from DigiDarla "boy with flowers, isnt he adorable!!! I colored him with PrismaColor pencils, then cut him out and put him on this A2 ColorCore card that I embossed with my cuddlebug and the Large Flowers folder from Darcie. Then the flower is a prima flower layered and a sugar glitter coated brad. The butterfly's are from my stash and were buttons but I cut the loop off the back, then put pop dots on the back to make then pop off the page as i did that to the lil' boy too! Then the sentiment was a stamp I had in my collection and then added a couple rhinestones to the card and walla!! I love it! Hope you do too!
