DDC #11 "Inspirational Photo" with a Sponsor

Good Monday morning all you lovely ladies!

This week at Digi Darla's Challenge blog, our very creative Karen gave us a

"Inspirational Photo" to follow:

 and here are the creations I came up with!!!

We have a sponsor this week and it is Floppy Latte Designs and here is the card I made

with her image "Bird Among Branch" I used some DP that I had and a stamped sentiment from my stash of acrylic stamps, I made the flower with my McGill punch set with the same DP to get a "matching" look. I wrapped the image with ribbon and tied a bow.

And now here I have my Digi Darla Image "Baby Bird in Tree" How adorable is this image...

I did a gate fold card and colored the image with my prisma color pencils. then added a mat with the tel color from the "inspirational photo" and then took some Teal colored Color Core paper and embossed with my cuddlebug. The flower I misted with glimmer mist Pearl. See below for the finished inside as well. this card would make a Great Note card, thank you, or even thinking of you...

DDC #10 "Celebrate Mom"

Here we are again, Challenge # 10....  "Celebrate Mom" (or another special lady in your life)

this week i have a card that i made for my mom, She had surgery
 last week and is recovering well. Thank you for all the prayers...

Ok the details...image is from Digi Darla Designs, called Daisy Delight .Got the Fab DP from my stash for the background, then I took some Coredinations pink and ran it through the cuddlebug with a floral folder, but instead of sanding it I inked it up, then on the image, I colored with my prisma color pencils, then cut out with a spellbinders die, then layered it on top of this fab paper I made with Glimmer mist (bubble gum and Marigold) and photo paper...(wish i would have thought to take a pic of the photo paper before I put the digi image on it) then I stitched around that. added some ribbon from stampin up, and some gems...Found this cute sentiment in my digi files, chalked it and distressed it and she is Done!!! what do you Think???

Here I have my Digi Darla Image "Note In The Mail"

the DP is by Sassafras, and was given to me from Lisa, she was given

lots of goodies from a friend of ours and shared some with me! Thanks Lisa ((HUGGS))!

So back to my card...I needed a little mojo and decided to search the net to see

what I could find.

I followed a sketch from The Sweetest Thing Challenge Blog,

I used a torn peice of Coredinations paper and distressed the edge then

mounted my image on that! The flower is a Rose from one of many that I made with

the punch set from McGill

are acutally BUTTONS that spell SHOP!! How neat is that??? then I added a flower

and some more bling to finish it off!!

DDC # 7 "Festive Flowers" and Winner

Good Monday morning everyone! This week at Digi Darla' Challenge Blog we are sponsored

by Robins Fetish. she graciously provided us DT with some great images. So today i have 2

card for you, 1 from Robyns fetish and one from Digi Darla... But First.....Last Challenge

 we had a little twist where if you played along you could win a Free Digi from the DT

members if you played along and did some commenting! Well that was a great success and

So, now its time to show you my projects for this challenge "Festive Flowers"

The first one is my card using Robyn's Fetish "Sunflower smiles"

I colored this cutie with prisma colored pencils, and then cut out with spellbinders die. Added a bumble bee punch out headed toward the Rose that was made with punch set, then added a sentiment that I do not remember where I got it from (sorry) and then added a dragonfly and lady bug button.

This next card is with Digi Darla's new release " Pitcher Of Flowers"

This one I put on Color Core card stock, ran it through my cuddlebug with a floral folder, cut the digi with my Spellbinders Grand Calabur, added some DP and them put some butterflies on that are from Martha Stewart. Then added one of my Roses that I made with my McGill punch set!

Here is a cute Digi Darla image!! Its called Easter Bunny Eggs, and is a March New release.

the paper is from DCWV "cafe Mediterranean" Stack

The flower is a rose that I made with my McGill punch set (totally love that set)

Happy Birthday!

Good afternoon everyone! It has been a very busy week since I was asked to be the Sponsorship Coordinator for Digi Darla Designs. I was honored that Kim asked me and I went Full Throttle with it!
I have been very busy with scheduling New Sponsors for Digi Darla Challenge Blog and finding sponsors for Digi Darla Designs to sponsor as well.
We have something to share with you on April 23 that I believe you will like!! We are all looking forward to that date! Busy busy busy..... that's all I am gonna say right now about it!

So the reason for my post you ask???? HAPPY BIRTHDAY! My mom's 71st Birthday is Thursday, I will be taking her out to a nice lunch and I made her this cute card using Digi Darla's "Happy Bearday"

"Bursting With Buttons" DDC #6

Good Monday morning everyone! I do hope that you have had a wonderful weekend.

Spring is in the air, we had thunderstorms over the weekend, but the Cardinals were

still singing between the storms! Hubby did the first Grass mowing of

the season, and it is soooooo pretty and green now! Most of my trees have bloomed,

just waiting on the sour cherry tree, its a late bloomer...Love the cherries on it for

the sour cherry cobbler, so its worth the wait!

So, enough chatter and on to the New Challenge over at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog,

I colored this cutie, with my prisma color pencils and then used my spellbinders

dies to cut out.. I had this great DP that has stitching in it and though how perfect,

"Think Spring" New Digi Darla Challenge

Good Monday Morning all you wonderful crafters!

 I do hope you had a chance to join us at DigiDarla's Challenge blog over the last couple weeks! We had a great image to give away for anyone who entered the "Anything But Snow" challenge. This week starts a new challenge and the Theme is "Think Spring"  I would LOVE to see what you come up with! there are some awesome creations by the Design Team, be sure to check all them out!

As for my inspiration for you i have 2 cards, one is with our sponsors (Robyn's Fetish) image and the other is a very cute Digi Darla image, so without further ado here are my cards:

Robyn's Fetish image

This card I used Robyn's Fetish "Ms Cutie Bear" image, I colored her with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. The ribbon is from Joanna Sheen and the DP is from my stash. The border at the bottom was done with my fiskars template and then I too my Big Bite and punched the mini holes to make it look like a punched border, then added a strip of the brown circle DP to the inside so when card closed yo can see the paper that matches the front circles! The sentiment is a wooden mount stamp from my collection. Now on to my next card.......

Digi Darla's Caring Duck

Isn't this just adorable!!!! I love this image by Digi Darla I colored him with my Prisma Color pencils and blended with OMS. The yellow card stock I mounted him to was run though my cuddlebug. The sentiment is a new wood mount stamp I got yesterday at Michael's. The flower is prima flower. The ribbon's at the bottom are from Joanna Sheen, I took 2 of them 1 pink and 1 purple and did a twist to get the effect I wanted...then the bling are from Martha Stewart, I love them they remind me of candy dots! So there you have it! I hope you have found some inspiration from me today, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with on this challenge!

Round & Round

Hi All!!
I seen this Great image from DigiDarla Designs and then seen the post for Phindys Challenge "Round & Round" and knew the 2 had to go together!!! Soooo I made this card with DigiDarla's image, cut circles on my cricut, and then stamped the sentiment and put it on pink cardstock circle...both my pink circles are sprayed with Glimmer Mist to give that extra shimmer! The Flower at the top is a Prima Flower "camolot rose" and my DP is "Glitter Stack" by DCWV"

So I am entering this into:

"Anything But Snow" at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog

Good Monday morning all you wonderful crafters!

Wow it was a busy last 2 weeks over at DigiDarla's hope you all had fun and even got a chance to check out the hop that we had, there was alot of inspiration!
Today starts a new Challenge at DigiDarla's and a new challenge mean New Sponsor, New Freebie, and New inspiration from the great design team! So after you get done checking my creations out hop on over to the rest of the DT and see what they have to help inspire you!

So our sponsor this challenge is Dearie Dolls and she was sweet enough to give us these great images to work with....the first one is "Morning Glory Day" and the second is made special for Digi Darla's Challenge called "Anything But Snow"

So for "Dearie Dolls "Morning Glory Day" I colored with prisma color pencils. Used some fab DP from Martha Stewart. The 2 different ribbons are from Joanna Sheen and the sentiment I made with Word and colored. then to top it off with some bling I added gems to the bottom and 2 butterfly buttons that I altered and cut the backs off of! What do ya think?? Great image from Dearie Dolls!

My second card uses Dearie Dolls "Anything But Snow" image. Colored with my prismacolor pencils, added some stickles to the snow to make it glitter a bit. The paper is scraps that I had left over from awhile ago. The sentiment is from a stamp collection I have and the flower is a prima flower. The ribbon under the image is from Joanna Sheen.

Cards For Emily

I seen this blog post about a little girl name Emily, I read her story and was touched, I knew I had to send her some love....She may not know me but she will know that I am praying and thinking of her during this difficult challenge in her young life. I read that she likes kittys and purple and well this is my card for her and I hope she likes it and all the love that went into it!

I do not know where I got this cute kitten image, but I love it...I used a ColorCore A2 Card and embossed "With Love" on the bottom with a Cuttlebug border folder. used some scraps I had from a previous card fo a little background, the image was colored with Prisma color pencils, and then cut and embossed on my Spellbinders Grand Calibur and then I chalked in purple. Added a flower that I colored with glimmer mist and added a Gem and added Gems to the bottom! Inside is a sentiment from DigiDarla that says" Sending warm thoughts and wishes your way"

I took this great image from Robyn's Fetish and colored it with prisma color pencils, cut it out and added some pop dots to the back to make her pop off the page, used the cuddlebug "Queen of Hearts" embossing folder and inked my paper, added a prima flower and a stick pin and a couple Heart buttons!
