DDC #15 "Celebrate Dad"

Good Monday Morning!

 Glad you are back for another week at Digi Darla Challenge Blog! This week we are "Celebrating Dad" (or another special man in your life) its a perfect week to get those Dad cards done since Fathers Day is this coming Sunday!

This week we are sponsored by Floppy Latte Designs and this is the image that they offer me to work with, I printed it, and then chalked it up with glimmer chalk except where the sentiment is in the middle.  The I too some Spots N Dots Coredinations paper and sanded it, took some floss and wrapped that and then added my image with some brass eyelets... Then on the corners I added some cream colored pearls!

DDC #11 "Inspirational Photo" with a Sponsor

Good Monday morning all you lovely ladies!

This week at Digi Darla's Challenge blog, our very creative Karen gave us a

"Inspirational Photo" to follow:

 and here are the creations I came up with!!!

We have a sponsor this week and it is Floppy Latte Designs and here is the card I made

with her image "Bird Among Branch" I used some DP that I had and a stamped sentiment from my stash of acrylic stamps, I made the flower with my McGill punch set with the same DP to get a "matching" look. I wrapped the image with ribbon and tied a bow.

And now here I have my Digi Darla Image "Baby Bird in Tree" How adorable is this image...

I did a gate fold card and colored the image with my prisma color pencils. then added a mat with the tel color from the "inspirational photo" and then took some Teal colored Color Core paper and embossed with my cuddlebug. The flower I misted with glimmer mist Pearl. See below for the finished inside as well. this card would make a Great Note card, thank you, or even thinking of you...

DDC #9 Thinking Of You

Good Morning! Here we are with a new week and a new challenge!

We have a sponsor this week and it is Floppy Latte Designs. They

generously gave the DT a few images to work with

(THANK YOU!!) and I chose this one:

 "Three Butterflies"

 I colored it up with prisma colored pencils, then cut it out with

 Round scalloped spellbinders. The DP I used on this one is from

 DCWV "the Blossoms & Butterflies stack" I found this really cool Sketch

 but their challenge has ended, but I still wanted to do this one!

I added a butterfly by K &Co and some pearls that I got from Michaels

and Next i have for you my Digi Darla image....

this image "Rose of The Tropics" by Digi Darla, is sooo pretty, it was a New release last week! 

 I really love how this card came out! did some scalloped stiching at the bottom, and added a mini flower brad to the top of each scallop, Layered my image with spellbinders die and, I added a Martha Stewart Butterfly.

I also have to share this photo I took of one of the roses in my yard,

I did not realize till I was looking at photos on the computer that I took that there

was a dew drop on the Rose...
