Delightful Inspirations i {heart} card sketch 26

Good Friday Morning!

My sister-in-law and I are going cloths shopping today!! Yaaa

 I used to HATE to shop for cloths but now that I have lost 140 lbs I don't 

mind it at all and actually Love trying cloths on, just to see if they fit!!

So that is what my plans are for today!

 I mentioned last night in my post that

Delightful Inspirations

Good evening all! 

I have has some time in my craft room today and I got some much needed work done! 

I have a couple that I want to share! here is the first one! 2nd will come tomorrow!

Over at Delightful Inspirations, they have a GREAT weekly sketch, 

I kinda needed it for a little mojo and it worked!!

Here is the Sketch

 

using an image from

 "From The Heart"  called Happy Mail

This is what I came up with using the sketch!!

Colored image with prisma color pencils, then blended with OMS, I used

chalk for my clouds, The DP is from my stash and the glitter tape is from wal-mart. 

The ribbon I used is from Joann Sheen.

Layout Salem Fair!

We took our grandson who is 27 months old...Big boy for his age...to the Salem Fair! Its a Great little fair with lots to do with little kids, and even a few adult rides. I decided to add to his Scrapbook album that I am working on with a couple pages of our trip to the fair!

Wow another week has flown by. We are already half way through the 

year and half way through July Already!!

We had a great weekend, Saturday we went to 

the Salem Fair, (Salem, VA) had a Great time with family!

Then Sunday, spent the day with my son and grandson 

Always a joy to have them around!

Today over at Created With Love challenges, we are going with the famous

 ANYTHING GOES theme! Everyone LOVES that! so this is what I came up

I have been working in my new craft room and LOVING IT!!! 

I love all the space I have, I seem to be more organized too!!

Which means I get more crafting done!

I worked today on some From The Heart images, and I have for you now,

CWLC 49 Birthday Red/Yellow

Hello all!!

I have some exciting news, (for me anyway) remember last week I told you about my DSLR Camera??? The Massive Rain storm, and how it got left out in that rain..........Well, after lots of tears and lots of prayers and lots of time for drying..........IT WORKS! the battery took a charge and the camera powered back up. The only thing that is Not working properly is the Auto Focus on the changeable lens. I can DEAL with that for sure!! Thank God!! So my pic this week is with my "water-proof" DSLR camera..YAAAAA lol

This week at Created With Love Challenges we are having a Birthday Theme....I ended up doing 2 cards because I goofed on the first one and forgot the "Twist" of Red and Yellow colors on the birthday card! So I will share BOTH cards I made.

CWLC 48 All about Girls...

Hello Fellow Crafters!

It has been a busy busy month for me. I took the month of June of for family and other things, including a new craft room!!! Yaaa after 2 1/2 yrs I finally got it.. Pics will come soon. I am still putting things away and organizing. What a Job!!! I should have taken July off too! LOL

Had a MAJOR disaster happen over the weekend...Our grandson was over and I was taking tons of photos with my DSLR camera that I got less than a year ago, well I had set it down out side to take grandson for a ride on golf cart and 4 wheeler and forgot ALL about it. We had a MAJOR thunderstorm that night.....my sister-in-law who is staying with us for a bit, walked the dog tonight and came back and was like Dawn, guess what I found out side, and I could hear in her voice it was Not  going to be good news....................yup it was my $800 digital DSLR camera....I cried for about an hour. My hubby bought it for me and it meant the world to me that he wanted me to have a very nice camera instead of a point a shoot. It is toast. the memory card was salvageable, so I did not loose any photos, but I did just waste $800.

Life goes on and maybe someday soon I will be able to have another awesome camera as that one was, I am still kicking my own A$$ for what I did, I can NOT believe I was so absent minded.

So with that said my photos are not going to be the best, I am taking them with my cell phone.
