Craft Room

Well, I have been procrastinating on getting my craft room set up the way I want for now.... And I finally got there! I say for now cause I am waiting on Spring to get here and I will have a HUGE Craft room off the sliding Glass door in the Living room....So Excited about that! But for now I got it very user friendly for me, and below I am sharing a few photos that I took.

This Pic is of my general craft area: tools on the right, ribbon and embellishments up top

this is my ribbon Shelf that hubby made me and in the shoe box bins are embellishments, flock, glitters, colored pencils, adhesives, inks, mounted stamps..etc.....

For right now my 12x12 scrap book paper is in the pockets to the left (this is an old X-Ray film reading table) my little scraps from doing cards go in the cardboard box to the right. we just bought a new printer so now I have the old printer all to my self for printing digi's so now I can leave Card stock in the paper tray all the time!

this is a over the door shoe pocket and I have it full of

 Punches and unmounted stamps, and specialty sissors.

 the roll around 3 drawer has more goodies in it glitter letters, photos ready for scrapbook pages, and for now I also use this for my Card photo shoot area, the lighting is perfect during the day for taking pics of cards I have made. (until Santa brings me a Light Photo Tent)

Baby.....

Short post...did something to my right foot and it is hurting really bad on top of my OA in my right knee i am in alot of pain the last couple days........

my first attempt at a Easel Card

Have to share that I had an awsome time Saturday night out with Lexie, Susan, Emily, BooBoo, and Lisa...Susan and I got to celebrate our Birthdays in a GOOD way!!! We went to Japanese for dinner and then it was Ladys Night Out and we all went and seen the Chippendales in Lynchburg We got VIP tickets and were in the 3rd row!!!

Here is my first attempt at an easel card....it is 4 3/8 by 4 3/8. Working on some other sizes and hopfull shapes....the mouse digi is from Elizabeth O. Dulemba and the paper is fromRecollections "jingle bells"

I havent had a chance to look into adding it to any challenges so I am just posting for tonight, I have a few cards ready to get posted to challenges soon!

Good Sunday Afternoon!

I have been busy in the craft room, got several cards done cant wait to share them here....Had the grandbaby Friday night and all day Saturday, he is such a joy to us...Always smiles and giggles,
gotta love that! He gets to spend every Fri night and Saturday (unless we are outta town) with us and we love it!!!
Got to Michael's & AC Moore the other day and got some clearance Halloween papers and a pack of Christmas paper, and lots of embellishments!!!! No tools this time around but I do need a few more goodies!!! Dont we all!!

Florida Trip & Card

Well, we are back from our FL trip.....so back to the crafty table I went not more than an hour after we walked in the door....I love the "Lovely Tree" from Designed2Delight. i needed to make a "thank you for your southern hospitality" card for the wonderful folks at the "Big Belly Hunt Camp" we visited, and this is perfect. They hunted we ate! all kidding aside we had the best venison dinner I have ever tasted, then sat around the big camp fire till the wee hours visiting..Was an awsome trip. And me with the camera ALWAYS in hand didnt have it for this trip so no pics :-(

here are the cards I made with the Delightful Inspiration digi's. I  used all 3 digi's and using the halloween card in the Designer’s Challenge Saturday – Halloween. Had a good time in my craft room last night....it is wall to wall mess now...so I gotta get in there now and straighten things up so I can start all over again LOL....Getting ready for a trip to FL so wont be posting for a week or so, leaving 4am Wed.....

First Card

Wow I finally did it! Here is my come back card!! Not into scraping full bore yet as I have been preoccupied with reading...I am reading the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye & Jerry B Jenkins, for those that don't know the series there are 12 books, I started my 1st one 2 months ago and have not been able to put them down, I am now 1/3 way through book 6 Assassins and just picked it up today at the library along with book 7 The Indwelling and 8 The Mark.

So on to my card for this week, I got the freebie that Design2Delight offered and came up with this card.

Afternoon!

Wow it has really been since January since I posted last???!!! ALOT has been going on in my life and unfortunately not crafting which I am about to change! From welcoming our new grandson, moving and getting settled in and more surgery, it surly has been hectic!
The Grandson arrived March 18th he was 2 weeks late, he was really comfee in his mommys belly! LOL he arrived via C-section at 10 lbs 2 oz and 22 inches long! He is PERFECT! Growing like a weed he is already 20 lbs and 26inches long and only 4 1/2 months old.
We moved so that I would have 1 level instead of a story and a 1/2 now my bedroom is on the main level and no more stairs! We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath home and I LOVE IT! 1 bedroom is my craft room, I am not done setting it up completely with all that has been going on, but it is a work in progress and coming along! I am going to set a goal and that is to have everyone in my family a homemade Christmas Card this year!
We did try a garden this yr and I think the Deer and Rabbits got more veggies out of it than we did!
So next year we are going to do it a little differnet and put up a 6' elec fence to keep deer and rabbits out. We tried everything from human hair to raunchy perfume on rags to keep them out and nothing worked!
Well guess that is my update for today, Went to Dr and got my stitches out today and have to start PT so between that and daily stuff I am going to get back into Scrapping ASAP!! Look for my new stuff soon!!!
