Woooohoooo....Christmas is getting closer!!!

I love Christmas time! can ya tell...hehehe

 

This week over at Created With Love Challenges we are doing

"Things With Wings" theme.... this can be anything from Christmas Angels, to birds or bugs.

You pick...We love seeing all the great and inspiring projects you all make!

 

Here is my card, it can be a Thank you, a thinking of you or even a get well....

 

I used Delicious Doodles image "Kingfisher"

Colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS, and then on the

dragonflies I added some liquid pearls to the wings.

I used spellbinders die for the image and the mat.

Good morning!

Here we are with another week at Created With Love Challenge!

this week I chose to use an image from Digi Darla Designs

Colored with my prisma color pencils, blended with OMS. then glittered the snow flakes and then used a punch to do the Blue snowflake at the bottom using glitter stack card stock.

CWLC # 19 Sketch

Wow!!! the last week of November is here, can you believe it!!! Where has the this one gone gone?

I have been super busy and MIA for the last 2 weeks, took my mom to CT the first weekend of Nov and got back from that trip and 2 days later headed out on another week long trip with hubby to Memphis TN. So lets see now if I can get back on track and stay there LOL!! Some times easier said than done!

DDC#39 My Last DD card...."Friendship""

Good Monday Morning!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, with lots of family surrounding you! I have had a busy last couple of weeks. As you know from a previous post, I took my mom to CT to see her sister and a brother. Well I got back from that trip and left 2 days later for another week long trip this time with hubby to Memphis TN. It was a great trip other than forgetting my laptop at home and me getting a really bad cold, had to go to the Dr as soon as I returned home.....That is getting better though!

I do have a bit of sad news to tell you, I will be resigning from Digi Darla Design Team, this weeks card is my last one for her DT. I will also be resigning as the Sponsorship Coordinator for Digi Darla as well. Karen will be taking over that and I will be working with her till the new year to help with the transition.

So on to my card this week, we have a sponsor this week at Digi Darla, Beccy's Place was generous to off a few of our DT members an image to use. I chose "Friendship" image. I used scraps from my stash to put this card together! Colored with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. Used a rubber stamp for the sentiment and glitter for the letters!

CWLC #17 Birthday

 

Good Monday Morning! I am on a little vacation, my Aunt and Uncle (my moms sister) are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary yesterday and I drove my mom from VA to CT so she could celebrate with them and the rest of the family. It is like a family reunion, some of us haven't seen each other in 30 yrs!!!! So I will be leaving CT when this post goes live and will return to VA on Tuesday(tomorrow)! So I am doing this post up a bit early.

 

This week at Created With Love Challenges we are celebrating Birthdays!

Our theme is Birthday

 and it MUST "contain a number"!

I colored my image with prisma color pencils and used Liquid pearls on the Balloon and on the dots on the party hat! Matted it on glitter paper. The flower is one I made with my McGill flower punch set. And the sentiment is from Cuddlebug folder. I embossed it and then inked

over it to make it pop a little

I colored with my prisma colored pencils, the die cut is from spell binders, and then I used glitter on her fuzzy part of her hood and wrist, and used flocking for the bear to make him fuzzy. The DP is some that I had in my stash. Hope you like...

DDC #36 Gift Card Holder

Good Monday morning! here we are into November already! Wow!!!

This week at Digi Darla we are doing Gift Card Holders, weather it be a card or a ornament like I made!

...I used a toilet paper empty roll and flattened it and wrapped some DP around it, cut a half circle at the top, measured in on the bottom and glued shut so the Gift Card don't go all the way to the bottom...then punched a hole and threaded some ribbon through so you can hang from the Christmas tree! I used Digi Darla's Merry Christmas Scroll sentiment..
