Good Monday morning everyone! I do hope that you have had a wonderful weekend.

Spring is in the air, we had thunderstorms over the weekend, but the Cardinals were

still singing between the storms! Hubby did the first Grass mowing of

the season, and it is soooooo pretty and green now! Most of my trees have bloomed,

just waiting on the sour cherry tree, its a late bloomer...Love the cherries on it for

the sour cherry cobbler, so its worth the wait!

So, enough chatter and on to the New Challenge over at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog,

we are at Challenge # 6 and it is "Bursting with Buttons"

We have a little twist this week, 1 Person will WIN the DigiDarla image I used

I colored this cutie, with my prisma color pencils and then used my spellbinders

dies to cut out.. I had this great DP that has stitching in it and though how perfect,

I used purple and green buttons to match her purple and green dresses, and the

 bakers twine is purple and green as well!

Happy Easter! CDAC-PC #14

This lil' bunny wants to bring you Easter wishes...

this card is for CDAC-PC #14 I used "girl bunny" digi by Stamping Dragon Designs
colored with prisma color pencils, then cut out with my spellbinders and layered
it with purple glitter card stock, and then put it on some DP from my stash that I
distressed and then inked. Made a purple Rose with McGill punch set, spritzed with
purple glimmer mist and them stamped the sentiment and inked that in purple
and called her done!

Congrats! Its A Girl! CDAC PC #14

Here we are again...
Up to CDAC PC #14 wow! I am a little behind getting these done this go-around. I am usually on the ball. My grandson had his 1st Birthday on the 18 (scroll down my blog for a couple photos) It was an awesome day...Then I went on a day road trip with hubby and we stopped at a Hobby Lobby!! That was fun! I got a set of punches by McGill that makes roses and that's what this flower is from in the this card!

So I used the My Little Toys digi from A Day For Daises, decided to do it as a New Baby card! I also got some Bakers Twine at Hobby lobby that I used in this card as well! The Rose was sprayed with bubble gum glimmer mist and given a clear coat of glimmer mist as well! The sentiment was stamped with glue and then I added the pink glitter to it!

Today is my grandson's 1st birthday! WOW!!! where did the year go!

Here is the card I made for him! I will get it back from mommy and daddy

to be sure it gets into my scrapbook for him!

He really love tigger and his birthday party theme is going to be

Winnie The Pooh so i figured how appropriate...All the little stars are

punched from glitter card stock, and the matting is glitter card stock too. The image

I am not sure where I got that from it was in my digi file but I love it! The Sentiment is

one that was in my file as well but I tweaked it by adding the "1st" and his Name!

PS... so I am posting this late, I had a bad night last night with pain from my knee and didn't get post finished up, so we have had the birthday party today and it was a blast! All the family was there, was a totally awesome afternoon! He got some good presents and some cute outfits to wear this summer!!!

He really enjoyed his cake, it was Chocolate with butter cream icing. He wouldn't at first pick it up he would just lean over into it and bite!! It was soooo cute!!!

So that is my Grandson's 1st Birthday!!

Good Morning All!!

This moring I have a mid challenge card that I did using the sponsor Tiffany Doodles for our Think  Spring over at Digi Darla's Challenge Blog! Have you been over to check it out?? There are some good things happening and if you have been following along and playing this week you are in the run for a giveaway!!! Might want to stop by!

So on to my card, I used Tiffany doodles Butterfly Vase and Butterfly Lone images...I had this perfect Spring paper with Daisys on it and though how perfect, Daisies, butterflies how much more Spring do ya need!!! So... I colored with prisma color pencils and cut out with my spellbinders. Then embossed the Sentinment and the flurish at the bottom, added a bow to the vase and some ribbon down the side!

I used DigiDarla's BestBuds image and the Sentiment is also DigiDarla's BestFriendsForever. I colored the Best Buds with my prisma color pencils, cut out on my fiskars rotary cutter with the Deckle Blade, then inked the edges. The BestFriendsForever sentiment was colored with Gimp2 since it was so small.
The DP is from Love Birds Stack by S.E.I. All the embellies are from my stash. This card is going to a very dear friend! We have been through alot together, and I want her to know how much I care and love her!

"April Showers" over at DigiDarla's

"April Showers" Bring May Flowers....

Its time for a new Challenge at DigiDarla's Challenge Blog, and this weeks Theme is April Showers!

This card is 2 of DigiDarla's great images, umbrella's and Tulips, I added the sentiment with my OpenOffice and sized it all down, colored with my prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. Added a prima layered flower and some buttons and the ribbon on the bottom.

Just One of Those Days... CDAC PC#13

Yup you guessed it!! Yes I have been VERY busy the last couple of days creating and today I got to chill and post all my creations!! I do hope you like!

 Another card for the CDAC PC#13 Challenge!!!

This image is by Lia Stampz I colored it with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS and then cut out with my Fiskars template, matted her with a purple Silk design paper and added 3 embellishments for a simple layout! The Sentiment is my own lol, I punched out a speech bubble and wrote on it! simple enough! I used the Recipe Challenge at 2 Sisters Challenge Blog that is:

Here is another CDAC PC #13 entry! This Digi is by Glitterbabe and is one flower that I layered to make a bouquet of 4. The sentiment is a wood mount stamp that I got at ACMoore in the $1 rack! the paper the stamp is on was sprayed with Clear Coat Glimmer Mist. The pearl accents are from Michaels $1 bin! I colored my flowers with Prisma color pencils and blended with OMS.

Good Monday Morning!

My card here for this UPDATE, I chose to do a Digi Darla Designs image Baby Bunny with Eggs.

I colored him with my prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. my mat was embossed with tulips with a hand crank embosser that I won in some Blog Candy recently. The flowers are Recollections and the ribbon is from Joann Sheen and the DP is from Glitter Stack by DCWV.
