Bugaboo image "sshappy birthday"

This card I used A Bugaboo image called SSHappy Birthday

I colored it and then stickles on the ballon and some of the frosting.

I matted this image on a lilac colored Glitter paper!

For my Digi Darla image I used "Let's Play Baby"

This card was just to add to my collection of on hand Birthday cards, I used an image from Digi Darla's Designs called Lets Play Baby... I colored with my prisma colored pencils and then chalked the sky, cut out with a Spellbinders die and layered on black and then 2 other DP's and then the main background layer is pearl green by coredinations. The sentinment is from one of my Fiskars "birthday sentiments" stamp sets, the flower is a prima flower and I spritzed it with Glimmer Mist Pearl. The ribbon is from Joanna Sheen and the pearls are from Michaels and "match" the Coredinations card stock.

DDC #12 "Card Sketch"

Good Monday morning! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. The weather here in VA was beautiful! Lots of out door stuff getting done! Garden is coming along well. We have been harvesting Radishes already. Got some more squash planted, and a little late but the corn is in the ground! The potatoes are doing wonderful as well as the peas, onions and tomatoes! Can not wait to start harvesting more veggies from it!

 Today I have for you a card from a Sketch that the lovely Karen designed for

 us to follow!! Great job Karen!

So with this sketch I came up with this card using Digi Darla's Scalloped Flowers, which was a NEW release on 5/14!  Are you interested in getting the NEW RELEASES???? Check it out here to get a membership. There are lots of perks and you get a TON of digi stamps for your money!

So On to my card:

I used some DP that I had in my scraps stash. The embossed pink paper is Core-dinations that I embossed with a cuddlebug folder. The sentiment is a new rubber stamp that I purchased, I distressed the paper I stamped it on and then inked with the New Release Spring Edition Peacock Feathers by Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

CDAC-PC#18 "Let's Split"

How yummy does this look??? Wanna Split a Banana Split!!

another CDAC-PC#18 challenge image by Doodle Pantry.

I took some dotted embossed card stock, stamped a a flurish in the upper corner, then added the image to some blakc and grey stock and added a prima flower with some bling in the middle and a button with some floss in it!

CDAC PC#18 "Summer Fun"

Wow, here we are again at CDAC and its time for the last challenge of this set! CDAC PC#18

For my first card I chose Sweet Stamping Treats image "pool time"

I made a gate fold card and added a flower and a button and some bakers twine for some bling!

I also added some Lime green Stickles to the edge of the umbrealla and chalked the umbrealla a cream and chalked the sky!

DDC #11 "Inspirational Photo" with a Sponsor

Good Monday morning all you lovely ladies!

This week at Digi Darla's Challenge blog, our very creative Karen gave us a

"Inspirational Photo" to follow:

 and here are the creations I came up with!!!

We have a sponsor this week and it is Floppy Latte Designs and here is the card I made

with her image "Bird Among Branch" I used some DP that I had and a stamped sentiment from my stash of acrylic stamps, I made the flower with my McGill punch set with the same DP to get a "matching" look. I wrapped the image with ribbon and tied a bow.

And now here I have my Digi Darla Image "Baby Bird in Tree" How adorable is this image...

I did a gate fold card and colored the image with my prisma color pencils. then added a mat with the tel color from the "inspirational photo" and then took some Teal colored Color Core paper and embossed with my cuddlebug. The flower I misted with glimmer mist Pearl. See below for the finished inside as well. this card would make a Great Note card, thank you, or even thinking of you...

She's Expecting! CDAC PC #17

Hello, after my sad news post yesterday of my oldest kitty passing, I thought I better keep my mind busy...I miss her so, our other kitty has been going from room to room looking for her, so sad that they do not understand and you cant sit them down and explain.

So for today I have a image from Mami Doodles. I created a "She's Expecting" Gate Fold card, for the CDAC PC #17 challenge!

RIP My Sassy Girl

Our beloved lil Sassy... You brought so much joy and laughter to us with your antics. You have been with us since you were 2 weeks old because your feral feline mommy didnt want you she abandon you and I found you, I bottle fed you and you hung on for dear life and got stronger and became a beautiful kitty that we all loved so much. You became a wonderful domestic kitty and shared your life with us for 14 yrs. Now you are in kitty heaven and playing again like a kitten. We will miss you so much.

Weep not for me though I am gone into that gentle night.

Grieve if you will, but not for long upon my soul's sweet flight.

I am at peace, my soul's at rest

There is no need for tears.

For with your love I was so blessed.

For all those many years.

There is no pain, I suffer not,

The fear now all is gone.

Put now these things out of your thoughts,

In your memory I live on.

Remember not my fight for breath

Remember not the strife.

Please do not dwell upon my death,

But celebrate my life.



DDC #10 "Celebrate Mom"

Here we are again, Challenge # 10....  "Celebrate Mom" (or another special lady in your life)

this week i have a card that i made for my mom, She had surgery
 last week and is recovering well. Thank you for all the prayers...

Ok the details...image is from Digi Darla Designs, called Daisy Delight .Got the Fab DP from my stash for the background, then I took some Coredinations pink and ran it through the cuddlebug with a floral folder, but instead of sanding it I inked it up, then on the image, I colored with my prisma color pencils, then cut out with a spellbinders die, then layered it on top of this fab paper I made with Glimmer mist (bubble gum and Marigold) and photo paper...(wish i would have thought to take a pic of the photo paper before I put the digi image on it) then I stitched around that. added some ribbon from stampin up, and some gems...Found this cute sentiment in my digi files, chalked it and distressed it and she is Done!!! what do you Think???
