Here we are back for another challenge! This time over at CWLC we are 

doing a theme of GIRLY!

But FIRST...I was to say HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY to Everyone!!

 

Oh and ALSO a BIG BIG Happy Birthday to my

 Grandson tomorrow March 18th he will be 3 yrs old! 

Now onto my card for this "GIRLY" challenge!

The image I chose to work with is Izzybella Boo's Button Flower

I colored her with Prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. then cut her out with a new Spellbinders die that I got reently. The bow is one that I made with my Bow it All tool! I also used some stickles to add  some pop to her!

 Here we are into MARCH already!! WOW!!

Today we are starting our THINK SPRING theme over at CWLC~

I chose Waking Birdie for my project this week!

 I colored the image with prisma color pencils and blended my colors with OMS. I then cut out the image with a spell binders die. The ribbon was hand made by me on my Bow It All board!

FTHS Stamp of the Month challenge

Hello fellow crafters! Today I have a cute card that I made for a friends Birthday!

I use the image from From The Heart Stamps, it is the Stamp of the Moth challenge image

 

It can be purchased here if you did not get it free by playing in last months challenge. If you did not play and get it free from last month, then no worries.... You can buy into the progressive Challenge and then play along with this image and upload it and then next month u will get a free image! Continue to play along every month and u will expand your fab collection of images!!

Here is what I did with this image

 

I Love this background DP I found! I colored the image withe prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS and then cut image out with a spellbinders die.On the image, I used Star Dust Stickles on the candle and on the eyes and the sweat drops I added some Glossy Accents for a good shine!

I finished off the inside with one of the sentiments that comes with the image " You Still look like a Spring Chick" "Happy Birthday anyway"

CWLC 75 BABY (important news update)

 

 

Hello fellow crafters! Welcome to February 2014...

Hope your week was a great one last week!!

****We have some news over at CWLC this week. 

We (Chris and I as co-owners) have been over loaded with personal life stuff, so we have decided to switch things up a bit here at CWLC! we will no longer be a weekly Challenge, but instead of closing down completely we have decided that we can still handle the New schedule of 1st and 3rd Mondays! Thats every 2 weeks! 

So please take note to this Change and the wonderful people over at Paper Playful have made note of this as well so the new challenges are updated there as well to help you along!

The image was colored with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. The image was cut out with a spellbinders die.

CWLC 73 Winged Things

Good Monday morning! 

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My daugher-in-law had her baby shower on Saturday, she is due Feb 5th. Its going to be a girl and will be my 1st granddaughter. I have 1 grandson who will be 3 in March. Anyway the shower was great! here is a pic of her and her belly!!

I decided to recycle a peanut can and made a piggy bank 

for my wheat back pennies.

I covered it with 12x12 scrap book paper and added my image and some really pretty lacy floral ribbon to the bottom and a yellow rose bunch for the lid!

CWLC 67 Anything Goes

Novmber 18th! WOW half the month gone,

tomarrow is my Bday....I love my birthday, my hubby

 spoils me so much who know what he will do this year....

THEN next week is our 26th wedding Anniversary and then Thanksgiving!!

we will have the whole family over to our house this year for Thanksgiving Dinner, I love 

cooking especially when everyone loves to eat it all up!
